Office politics

Who's this event for?

Anyone interested in the links between language, behaviour and politics. But our big theory is that the business world has a lot to learn from the tactics of politicians. So this will also be a good evening for:

  • Brand and marketing people. If ‘single issue’ politics is the spirit of the day, how can you become a ‘single message’ brand?

  • CX folk. How do political parties turn apathy into action? (And what tips can you borrow?)

  • HR teams. How does wrangling a company behind one shared goal compare to whipping a party of egos into place?

What can I expect?

Ayesha gets politics – particularly the braying, boisterous side of it

Take back control. Strong and stable. Make America great again

You might hate what politicians say, but you have to give it to them. They know what makes people tick.

So what do they understand about language and behaviour that the rest of us don’t?

We’ll be talking to Ayesha Hazarika MBE to learn the art of influence, from Whitehall to the White House.
